Alexandre Hannud Abdo, doctor in Physics (Universidade de São Paulo – USP, 2009) and bachelor in Molecular Sciences (USP, 2003), is a researcher for INRA at the Laboratoire Interdisciplinaire Sciences Innovations Sociétés (LISIS).

He arrives from Brazil, where he worked at Instituto de Física da USP (IFUSP) with the epidemiological modeling of behaviors, at Fundação Oswaldo Cruz (FIOCRUZ) with the sampling of hidden populations, and at Faculdade de Medicina da USP (FMUSP) with socio-technical interventions in the public health system.

His work at IFRIS is about the structuring and the transformation of the field of oncology, and he’s part of a CIHR project.
