Présentation

Morgan Meyer est directeur de recherche à Mines ParisTech et chercheur associé au LISIS. Il détient une maîtrise en biologie, un doctorat en sociologie et il a été postdoc au Département de Sociologie de l’Université de Sheffield et au Centre de Sociologie de l’Innovation à Mines ParisTech. Il a récemment été professeur invité à l’Université de Vienne (Department of Science and Technology Studies) et ‘bright ideas visiting fellow’ à l’Université d’Edinburgh (Genomics Forum). Ses recherches actuelles se concentrent sur 2 thématiques :

  • l’émergence, la gouvernance et la mise en débat de nouvelles formes de biologie (biologie de synthèse, do-it-yourself biology) ;
  • les lieux et pratiques du ‘knowledge brokering’ (intermédiation des savoirs) et les frontières des sciences.
